C4 Shopping uses video surveillance in the shopping center to prevent crime and provide law enforcement agencies with greater support in solving crimes.
C4 Shopping is authorized to conduct video surveillance in accordance with video surveillance guidelines, the Video Surveillance Act, and the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). To fulfill this purpose, video footage is stored and may be handed over to law enforcement authorities in connection with suspected criminal activity. The camera footage is used solely for this purpose, and access to the camera system is restricted to the shopping center’s security guards only. We use your personal data in connection with the video surveillance at the shopping center. For information on where the data is stored, please contact the shopping center management.
Recorded footage is stored only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose of the camera system, which is 14 days. Signs informing visitors about camera surveillance are clearly posted at each entrance. These signs include contact information for the facility’s data controller. If you are dissatisfied with how C4 Shopping conducts its video surveillance, please contact the mall management at info@c4shopping.se
